8th & Cherry St, First Hill, Seattle

Overview

  • 0.4 miles from Downtown, Seattle
  • 226 condominiums and retail

Seattle, home to major US companies including Boeing, Microsoft and Amazon, has a strong economy and a demonstrated demand for new condominiums. This is our second venture into the US. We've selected a prize site in the heart of Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood, at the corner of 8th and Cherry streets, to expand our US portfolio.

Residents will have fantastic views and be close to Seattle's top universities, boutique museums and the city's major medical facilities.

The development is adjacent to the historic 1892 Trinity Episcopal Parish and will incorporate new church facilities.

Building

Caydon engaged Chicago-based SCB Architects and Seattle consultant Compton Design, to create an iconic building that sensitively responds to the First Hill neighbourhood.

The first three of the building’s 26 floors will house new church facilities and include a parish hall, performance venue, art gallery, administration facilities and cafe. The remaining floors will comprise 226 condominiums with six levels of below-ground parking.

ARTIST IMPRESSION

Amenities

Caydon plans to bring the essence of Melbourne to Seattle with a high level of amenities for residents’ relaxation and enjoyment, and include an indoor/outdoor rooftop amenities area.

Landscaping at ground level will be designed to encourage walkability and street-level interaction, and retail is included in the plans.

Location

Seattle is surrounded by water and mountains and residents will have incredible views of Puget Sound, Lake Union and Cascade Mountains.

Our site is adjacent to Downtown and in a very walkable location close to the city’s art and culture community.
