The Theatre House, San Diego

Overview

  • 336 Condominiums
  • 190 Hotel Keys

1122 Fourth Ave is right in the center of Downtown San Diego, and on its way to becoming the place to live in this vibrant neighborhood. At Caydon, our plans for the 100-year old California Theater are moving forward, with key agencies welcoming our balanced approach to the revitalization and preservation of this iconic site. With similar urban regeneration projects underway and completed in Australia and Houston, our Architect and Design team are eager to bring this project to life.

Building

Merging past and future design elements, the mixed-use tower will contain 336 condominiums – the most of any condo development in Downtown’s history. The California Theater facade will be revitalized and rebuilt to retain the character and charm of the neighbourhood, where modern and Victorian-era architecture frequently rub shoulders.

Construction is due to commence in 2021 to create lifestyle-focused living with ground-floor retail spaces.

Location

At Caydon, we select development locations that offer residents an exceptional lifestyle. Living between Third and Fourth Avenues in the Colombia neighborhood gives you front row access to the very best of Downtown San Diego; Balboa Park, Little Italy, Gaslamp District, East Village and the Bay are just minutes away, plus there are restaurants, shopping and galleries everywhere you look. Transport options are plentiful, but when you’re this central, walking or cycling is an easy option.

Amenities

An exceptional location isn’t the only thing these condos have to offer. Along with the San Diego Bay to the east and Balboa Park to the north-west, residents will also have plenty to enjoy right at home with amenities that include a swimming pool, pet park, co-working spaces, and a yoga studio.

With few condominium projects on the market, we plan to fit the demand for luxury, high-end condos available at an attainable price.
